Whether we use directly or indirectly, tobacco use affects us all. Each year six million people lose their lives from direct tobacco use and 600,000 deaths are caused by exposure to second-hand smoke. Unless we take action, the annual death toll could rise to 8 million by 2030, according to the World Health Organization.

At WFS, we want to help you and your loved ones breathe freely. We know that for most tobacco users, it takes an average of seven tries to “stay quit” and that’s OK! If you want assistance with the tobacco cessation programs we support, check out the following benefits:

We cover up to two 90-day treatment plans (using nicotine replacement therapy) in FULL – meaning there is no cost to the United Health Care (UHC) member. If you are not a UHC member, please email [email protected] for more details on how we can help you quit with comparable programming.

Please visit the BUPA website to find tips and tools on how to quit tobacco and take a free online health assessment. You may also use EAP for health advice and support 24 hours a day/7 days a week at: 0800 269 616.
